Family Petitions

There is no higher priority than being close to the ones we love. The United States immigration system allows citizens and legal residents to sponsor their family members to obtain Permanent Residency (Green Card). However, an error in the application can result in years of waiting. My commitment is to ensure that your petition is solid from day one.

Frequently Asked Questions / FAQ

How long does my petition take?
Immediate relatives of citizens are typically processed within months. For other categories, the timing depends on the monthly Visa Bulletin.
Can I petition for my fiancé?
Yes, through the K-1 Visa. This allows your partner to come to the United States to get married and then adjust their status here. (Only United States citizens.)
What happens if the sponsor passes away during the process?
There are humanitarian protection laws that allow a case to continue under certain circumstances. We evaluate whether you may qualify for a substitute sponsor.
